C.A.S.T. for Kids, Alabama held it's first ever Alumni event at Gadsden State Community College's fish hatchery on October 3rd 2009. The weather was great and we had a really good turn out. The Alumni event was open to all kids that participated in the 2008 or 2009 C.A.S.T. for Kids events at Lake Guntersville. The kids had a great time catching the 4 -6 lbs catfishes. Just about every time you turned around someone was calling for a net. And as always there was plenty of good food for everyone.

A special thanks to Gadsden State Community College for hosting this event and their support of C.A.S.T. for Kids, Alabama. The fishing was great and the hatchery tours were very educational. These guys went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Thanks again for your hospitality and support.
