Donations

C.A.S.T. for Kids, Alabama is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization which operates solely on donations and sponsorships. Without the support of the surrounding communities, this program would not be able to continue. Donations come in the form of money, goods and services. They are given by both large and small companies, individuals and groups such as church groups, and fishing clubs.
Don’t think you have anything to offer? The owner of Guntersville Bridge Live Bait & Tackle who operates out of a two room wooden building in Guntersville, AL was one of
the first year sponsors. We had talked with him to tell him what C.A.S.T. for Kids was about. He was very interested and offered to provide all of the crickets and 75 throw away cricket keepers for the event. To our surprise he contacted several of his suppliers and not only provided the crickets, but also worms and really nice reusable cricket baskets that were given to the kids to keep. Today he has pictures of the kids from
each year’s event on the wall in his bait shop and is ready to help out again this year. He is truly a person that is giving from his heart to support this great program. Besides the much needed financial support, we also need items for goodie bags, prizes, fishing tackle, sunglasses, food, drinks and many other items that make this a fun event for the kids. Aside from the food items, we can accept donations throughout the year, to better prepare for the upcoming event.
Sponsorship

Please know that whatever amount you feel
comfortable with donating will make a difference and
is greatly appreciated. You can also make
arrangements to donate items for goodie bags and
prizes. The cost of sponsoring a child for the event
each year is $62.50. This covers the tackle box,
rod/reel, hat, shirt and plaque that each
participant receives.
To
become a Gold sponsor of C.A.S.T. for Kids, Alabama you
need to make a donation of $500 or more or goods and or
services of equal value. You will have your company's
logo added to our website on the sponsor’s page, which
will also be a link to your website and on the back of
the T-shirts that are worn by the participants and
volunteers. As a bonus you will also get a great feeling
from helping to make this event a success each year. We
strongly encourage all of our sponsors to visit the
event and see firsthand the smiles and excitement on the
kid’s faces and how much their sponsorship means to the
kids and to this organization.
